Symphonic Band is the advanced auditioned wind and percussion ensemble at Lowell. Auditions are held in the spring for the following year's ensemble.

The Symphonic Band performs at three school concerts, plus additional events in the fall, and travels to NCBA Festival in the spring. 

Concert Band is the non-auditioned wind and percussion ensemble at Lowell. Anyone with at least 1 year of experience on their instrument can join the Concert Band. 

The Concert Band performs at three concerts per year.

Beginning Band is the place at Lowell to learn an instrument for the first time! Aspiring woodwind, brass, and percussion players can join this class without an audition or any experience. The Beginning Band plays at three concerts per year.
